ELECTRIC PLANER

An electric planer is a device mainly used to smooth the surface of the wood. It is also used to smooth woods tough end grain and also for tapering wood. For instance, if a door is too wide, make passes with an electric planner over the side of the door, adjusting the depth gauge to give a cut of the desired depth.

An electric planer has an aluminum base with an ergonomically-centered balance and the perfect handle for comfortable operation. The spring-loaded stand elevates the base to protect the blades and work piece. The power usage ranges from 600 watts to 900 watts whereas the planning speed ranges from 14,500 RPM to 16,700 RPM. The planning depth is 0-1.0mm which helps in precise planning. The planning width of the machine is 82mm.
